Monkey Party Favors

Our five-year old is having a bowling birthday party tomorrow. I can't believe it 5! Where does the time go?
I showed the invites a while ago but here are some other thing I stamped.
Name tags I just picked them up at the dollar-store I stamped them and colored then to match the napkins. Treats with bag-toppers and our sock monkey pal. Water-bottle tags, no stamping on those but I am sure I will if I get a minute. LOL. I still have to get a gift!
Have a great week-end.

Heart time

Since I have been having some computer trouble I have 3 crafts to show.I have been working on some Valentines. I love Valentines it is one of my favorite days!

The first is a sweet candy holder. It is a simple tri-fold card . The image on the front was stamped and colored with markers. It took seconds to make. To hold the candy inside I use a slit punch to make tabs to hold the treat. The card was a little bulky so the binder clip helped to keep it closed.

The second is a Card for a Friend. I stamped the heart and filled it in with liquidglass. Before it dried I cover it with glitter. When it was dry I tapped off the glitter. I love the red and whit together.

The last craft is a "I LOVE U" Tag Banner. I wanted to make a banner to sit on our dinner table. The tags are all different. I used punch pieces and ribbon to decorate each tag. I used letters I cut using a coluzzel knife and stencil. This is a great project to use up all the random embellishments you may have laying around.

Happy Heart Day,

Shaz

Cherry Thanks

Here is the first card I made with the Tart and Tangy stamp set! I gave this card to my brother yesterday. I used markers to color the stamp for the images. I was not sure if the cherries would look good in a darker red, but I love it. Makes me think of black cherries, yum! I love using the black and white gingham ribbon. I would say I use it the most of all my ribbon.

Thanks a bunch for looking,
Shaz

Summer Card {remember }

This is a card I made in the summer. I was volunteering at a Deer Lake Christian Camp over the summer and in the off time a friend and I made a few things. When I was alone I worked on Scrapbook pages. Card making is much more social.
We are going to be having our semi-annual Scrap-weekend in April at the Camp.
Check out the Details and if you are interested in joining us, leave me a message. (P.S. Super affordable!)

Monkey somthing card {Mojo69}

I did this card for the Mojo Monday Challenge .
I love the way it turned out. I used a blender pen for all the coloring. which should not be hard but it was taking me some time to get just right. I think the trick it to go slow.
Any~how let me know what you think!

Kraft {thank you} Card

This is a card I made from left-overs. I really liked the colors on the ribbon and it was my last piece. I wanted the ribbon to stand out so I kept the card plain with kraft card stock.
The scalloped edge was hard to see so I added the small strip of aqua card stock for contrast. To make the window I punched the opening first. Then with the card closed I placed the white punch sentiment in the space. Lastly,The heart is a brad left-over from a scrap book page.

Thanks for looking,

Quick Birthday cards

Today I made some quick cards for a friends Birthday.
I wanted something that was simple and classy. I know she likes a vintage look so I uses a retro colors and to keep it quick I stuck with just the one color on a card.
Very easy to make:
-Stamped the Background
-Stamped and embossed the sentiment.
-used a paper punch to shape the sentiment.
-Punch a white piece to highlight the sentiment.
-Glued the white piece flat to the card.
-used a foam sticker to adhere the sentiment slightly lower than the mirroring punch.
-I used a edging punch to detail the bottom
-to finish it off I tied a knot with white ribbon and rounded the remaining corners
Tres Chic!

Monkey Bowling Invitations

I Love the Sock Monkey! So I wanted to use him for the Bowling invitations.
I made the Bowling balls by punching 3 small hole(the small hole on the Cropodile) in a triangle and then punching them out with a 3/4 inch punch.
I also printed all the party information from my computer. I wanted the Sentiment on the from to match my design so I customized the color of the font. Super easy and Quick. (with the help of a pal)
I had a bunch of scraps so I made a party planner too!

Happy New Year!
