Cookies on a cold day {Scrap-booking}

I am on a scrappin' roll! I did this page with some help from sketch I found in a magazine. The layout is very plain.

I think it needs a sharp looking title!

Around each photo I journaled a step-by-step style point. I used punched to highlight the date and the theme: "Cookies on a cold day". I used ribbon to bring the pages together.
Supplied:
Card-stock(2+). Double sided Designer paper(1+). Date stamp. Black ink. Wide Oval punch . Scalloped square Punch. Square 3/4inch punch. Corner rounder. Ribbon.Brad. Black journal pen.

Have a Great day!

Valentine Page {scrap-book}

Here is a scrap-book page using the Color inspiration from KWerners blog. I love the colors, but, I didn't have one so, I worked around it.
I did even really take picture on V-day {people noticed too! yikes.}. These are a few pictures that made me think of LoVe! The one on the top right is posed, My husband and I never take picture together but he loves me so much he posed! The picture on the bottom left was taken by a toddler. He was playing with my camera and snapped this picture. It is my wedding band.
I typed a LoVe letter to my husband and printed it on matching card-stock. I used punched, stamps and embossed a few sentiments.
Supplies: card-stock,{Kiwi; mustard and white} wide oval punch, small oval punch,1 3/8th circle punch, scalloped edge punch, ribbon, embossing power and heat gun.
Stamps: Always {SU!} and date {dollar store}

LoVe it,
Shaz

Last of Heart day

I just wanted to post the last of the Valentines. Here they are:

The energy drinks were for my 3 brothers. I was not sure I wanted to give them chocolate so I got these from a bulk store. I used a lot of imagination to make them match the pictures on the cans. Details: These were free-hand tags. I used rhinestones googly eyes and curly ribbon.

The slider cards are for my kids with red popcorn inside. A Great family friend had some at Christmas I was so happy to find it for Valentines! I used a paisley back-ground stamp to create the base of the card. Details: Always SU! stamp set, Real red ink,Red satin ribbon Wal-mart 1 3/8th circle punch and scalloped edger. Red popcorn from "Krenels". Base measures 1 inch wider and 1/4 taller than package of popcorn.

My kids made the nano Mp3 card. They chose the songs for the play lists. They loved punching out the pieces and gluing them together. Details:3X 31/2 card base, 2X21/2" screen, 1 3/8" circle, 3/4" circle, and a heart punch.

Hope you are still filling the LoVe,

{Thank-you} Cupcakes

After our big kid turned 5 I could not resit making these thank-you notes!
They are super cute and easy to put together.
HOW TO...
1: Stamped the cup portion of the stamp on the designer paper and cut them out.
2: Stamped the whole image on matching card stock and cut them out.
3: I adhered the cup to the whole image.
4: Colored the cherry and the sprinkles to match the DP.
5: To make it shiny I added liquid glass to the sprinkles and a little to the cherry.

I was able to make 10 in 2 hours not bad eh?
Have a SWEET Day!

So Yum, I could eat it!

I love chocolate. I am sure many people can say that but this card is so YUM I could eat it.
I did a lot of paper punching to make those little paper chocolates.
I used the 1 inch scalloped circle (Martha Stewart) 3/4 circle (Mavy) and a heart punch from the dollar store. The dollar store punch could not punch through card-stock so I used some old designer paper(must be at least 5 years old) to punch the hearts. The golden yellow made me think of caramel.

To put them together I stacked the dark brown scallop under the light brown then I used a foam dimensional to add the heart. super easy. The most difficult was the vellum. The scallops don't match-up very easily so I had to use scissor to smooth out the corners.
A small detail that does not show in the photo is a big eyelet on the tag, it says "favorite thing". How perfect is that?!
It looks so yummy I think it was worth it!

Enjoy!

Way to go! No stamps?

I have not blogged in a few days but I have made a few thing!
This is a card I made Paper Trey Ink's first challenge.
I got the "My Way" arrow punch a short while ago and was excited to use it for the challenge.
I am not sure that I have ever made a card without stamps. None of the quotes I had matched the style. I hand wrote the sentiment! I love the way it turned out. I don't usually like my hand writing but this card is very casual so it works.
Hope you like it and take a minute to check out the Paper Trey Ink/Nicole's blog to see other artists at work.

Love to have a comment from you!
