Ice-cream{yummmm}

Ok... I have been thinking about the Sweet Treats Challenge...

Carmel Cone Explosion keeps poppin' in my mind.
It is a great Extraas Ice-cream flavor by Hagen Daz.

So I made this card using the colors scheme on the carton.....Mmmmm

Candy, candy...Who wants candy?

The Farm fresh Friday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm is all about your favorite Sweet Treat!

I used the Reeta Sprout to show my Sweet Treat's colors!

I will be giving this card to me Dad{papa} to cheer him up. He had surgery this week on his right arm's rotator cuff. I know he would hate a get well soon card{LOL}, since his is not "really" sick.

I know he will love this card  from his grand-girlies.

I used this great ruffle ribbon to embellish this card. {I am sharing it in my Blog candy }

Real red, white and DP by SU! Reeta Sprout and Ian sentiment stamps by TGF. Black pearls, Red ribbon and red gingham ruffle are found items. Copic, SU! and Memory writers to color the image.

{tools}

 The mate and fore-ground have been cut my the Making Memoried Slice with the Noteworthy SD card.

mark my {book}

I need a bookmark for my book so I whipped this one up...lol.

It has a long velvet ribbon and a vintage frame charm on the top. Edward is colored with copic markers. I embossed with clear powder on black ink before I heated the powder I sprinkled Iridescent glitter for "dazzle". The Quote is from New Moon and says: "you know, I never had much patience for Romeo".

Real red, Basic black, Vanilla Card-stock from SU!.  Edward sprout stamp from The Greeting Farm. Markers and blender from Copic. Multi-liner black marker pen from Zig. Vintage frame charm, large eyelet, hemp twine and Velvet ribbon are found items.

{for}me?

I got the greatest treat in the mail this week.  I received my first LOST card. As you may know I make Lost card for my friends but none has ever made ME one!  EVE, of This Is Bliss, sent me this great card and some great images to play with.

Thanks So Much Eve I love it!
I also have been working on a LOST card. My local LOST buddy was very sick and I had to make her a little something to cheer her up! So i made her this Brightly colored card. The Quote I wrote on the card says: " we gotta get the doc"~Sawyer.

Show time for Grandma

Yesterday was my Mother's 60th Birthday. We had a little surprise party for her.

A few of her friend joined the family for dinner.

My husband, Hank, made my mother some home videos, of her beautiful grandchildren.

I chimed in and made a holder for the double DVD set.

This is a multi challenge project.

Hey there, Hope you had a great week-end.I did.

I had a little getaway with Hank we went to the theater and saw the Sound of Music.

It was amazing I loved every second of it.

When I got home I saw this sketch at the Greeting Farm blog.

I had a lot of fun when I saw how great it worked with the Stampin Sister's

shadow box challenge and the Color Throwdown too!

I so love these Greeting Farm images by Marina it is so easy to be inspired.

Fall for Ian

Don' you love fall? It is a wonderful time of warmly colored leaves and crisp breeze.

I bought this great fall themed paper from SU!.

My demonstater Melanie is the sweetest of sweethearts.

I totally love going to stamp club every month.

 

 This card I made for "like Anita Challenge" over at Club Anya. You all must know y now how much i enjoy those TGF images. I was so excited to use my TGF images with this new paper.

I will be taking this fall thank-you card over to the {shop}kraftnook blog.

Wild about TGF!

My new favorite stamp company The Greeting Farm has a contest going on right now.

Over at the blog on Friday they announced a Guest Design contest.

Another Scrap-book layout.

I scrapped this page of my little girl last year when she started kindergarden.

I included some **sweet** memorabilia.

The little craft in this layout is an item she made in her class.

It was to show what she thought she looked like.

The teacher also wrote some things she said about herself.

Thanksgiving

We have celebrated Thanksgiving here, south of the boarder. But I am sure our southern neighbors are starting to think about Thanksgiving. My brothers and I have gotten older and we have made some new "more mature" tradition. Some like Pecan Pie or ice-cream. 

We LOVE to play RISK!

I am not sure how it started but it is our new favorite tradition.

In this lay-out I documented the prominent players.

My brother my husband and myself.

I would also like to mention in year 4 of Thanksgiving RISK I won!

Hey did you know there was a Lost version of Risk?

Many we have ourselves funny playing Risk, the popular game of strategy that it has like objective to conquer the world, and Pedro Contreras, a true Lost fanatic and artist, has created a unique editing of the game based on the series.    A created unit of artisan form by Contreras only exists, and the rules or specifications to be able to play are not known, perhaps but the producers of this famous table game cheer up and they buy the idea to him to this great fanatic of Risk and Lost. Somehow it had to kill the time Pedro Contreras while it hopes

Happy**belated**Halloween

Things were so busy on Halloween I didn't get to say:

"Happy Halloween!"

My family has never really gotten in to the festivities.

This year was very different all the kids went out and had a great time.

I guess this is a good sign my babies are growing up.

 I made these fun Edward and Jasper buttons to wear when I was handing out the candy.

 I also made my husband a LOST costume. It was very simple.

He was dressed like a Darma Initiative mechanic.

Some of my LOST creations are going to be featured over at Eve's blog this week so take a peek!

Eve is a Lost loving crafter too. She has also done some great Twilight inspired creations.
